Sneads Ferry pharmacy robbed

From the Onslow Sheriff release:

On the afternoon of August 17, 2011, a call was received in that a pharmacy in Sneads Ferry was robbed.  A description of the suspect was obtained.  Initial information indicated that the suspect was armed.  The suspect demanded and obtained Oxycodone pills. After getting the pills, the suspect left in a truck. One of the clerks was able run outside and asked people nearby to call 911. Those individuals were able to call 911, as well as get a description of the fleeing truck and suspect.

Several minutes after the robbery, the truck was stopped at a nearby road. A person that didn’t fit the description of the suspect was found operating the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and yielded an address in the Chadwick Acers subdivision. Deputies responded to the address, and found two persons at the residence with property that was stolen during the robbery of the Pharmacy.

At this time, three persons of interest are being detained in reference to the robbery.

Follow Up

As a result of the investigation into the robbery of the Sneads Ferry Pharmacy on August 17, 2011, one individual has been charged and taken into custody.

1 count        Trafficking Heroin

1 count        Maintaining a dwelling for Controlled Substances

1 count        Possession with intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver a

Schedule II controlled Substance

Subject is being held under a $150,000.00 secured bond.  He had a first appearance this morning.

Warrants have also been obtained on:

Scott Michael Goshorn W/M 24yrs.old, Sneads Ferry Area

Charges:

Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon

2 counts      1st Degree Kidnapping

Possession of Stolen Goods
