Roy, Alberta Agnes
Angels came to take Alberta Agnes Roy, 90, of Salem home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 10, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ernest Arthur Roy Sr.; son Edmond Lester Joanis, and daughter, Nancy Elaine Dionne. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Elaine Susan and George Ryan, Alberta Carol and Charles Turner, Diane May and Paul Rainville; and sons Butch Allen Roy and Richard Roy. She was lovingly known as MeMé to 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held June 14 at the Lotz Salem Chapel. Interment was in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
