EMS personnel and rescue members assist in the care of a patient as they remove them from the damaged car after it struck a tree.

Faison Volunteer Fire and Rescue assisted Sampson County EMS at a single vehicle wreck located at the intersection of East Darden Road and Faison Highway just inside Sampson County Thursday, April 14.
Faison responded with their Crash Truck and a Pumper along with six firemen. The vehicle was traveling north on Faison Road (Highway 403) when it lost control, ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Sampson County EMS transported one victim from the scene.
