Divers-Sumner

Robert and Deborah Landis of Salem are pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Heather Elizabeth Divers, to Christopher Sutter Sumner of Charleston, S.C.

She is also the daughter of Jake E. Divers, III, of Roanoke.

Chris is the son of John and Suzanne Sumner of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Salem High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roanoke College in 2005. She is the program manager for SC MENTOR, a Therapeutic Foster Care Agency in Charleston.

Chris is a 2001 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. He is a 2005 graduate of Roanoke College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and concentration in accounting. He is employed by Blackbaud Inc. as a Business Development Representative-Data Enrichment Services on Daniel Island, S.C.

A September 2010 wedding is planned in Charleston.
