The bride is the daughter of Dale and Angela Israel and the granddaughter of David and Juanita Dabbs, all of Roanoke. She is a 2007 graduate of Glenvar High School and is currently attending Liberty University.

Mrs. Christopher Michael Lugar (Jennifer Shea Israel)

The groom is the son of Keith and Eileen Lugar of Roanoke and the grandson of Brian and Murrell O’Donnell of Richmond. He is a 2003 graduate of Northside High School and a 2007 graduate of Liberty University.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Lauren LeNeave served as matron of honor. Attendants were Courtney Huffman, Lauren Allen, Kristin Bandy, Leslie Ramsey and Kristin Wade. Charis Clark served as flower girl.

Stephen Nelson served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Beckner, Michael West, Dustin Israel, Zach Lugar and Nathan Whitlow. Elijah Clark served as ring bearer.

A dinner reception and dancing followed the ceremony at the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel & Conference Center.

Following a honeymoon in Cape Code and Boston, the couple with reside in Lynchburg.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Elaine Keegan of Harrisonburg. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Patricia Keegan of Moultonborough, N.H. She is a 2003 graduate of Harrisonburg High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Mary Washington. Erin is a financial analyst for IBM.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Franklin Hughes

The bridegroom is the son of Jack and Debbie Hughes of Salem. He is the grandson of Helen Hughes of Silver Spring, Md., and nephew of Susi Sparacino of Falls Church. He is a 2003 graduate of Salem High School and a 20076 graduate of the University of Mary Washington. Robert is a software engineer for Lockheed Martin.

Kelly Keegan, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Annie Hughes, Jackie Hughes, Brae Gilbert and Mary Catherine Collins.

The best man was Johnny Hughes, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were David Keegan, Jacob Davidson, Bryan Beers and Andrew Peters.

Scripture was read by Megan Linn, friend of the bride, and Katie and Kelly Hughes, cousins of the groom.

After honeymooning in Hawaii, the couple are residing in Arlington.

The Rev. Roy Rogers of Salem officiated. Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception were held at Natural Bridge Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher Wright of Stocksdale, N.C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell McGuire of Elliston.

Kim Basham of Elliston was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were August Howerton of Stocksdale, Hannah Garman of Roanoke and Rebekah Wright of Shawsville. Flower girl was Tessa Wright, sister of the bride, of Stocksdale. Ringbearer was Ethen Monk, brother of the bride, of Stocksdale.

The best man was Matt Reynolds of Christiansburg. Groomsmen were Zack Woods of Shawsville, Darrrell McGuire, father of the groom; and Fletcher Wright, father of the bride.

The couple are living in Salem. The groom works at Yokohama and the bride works at HCA.

The Rev. Ken Richardson of Boones Mill presided over the ceremony. Prelude and ceremony music was provided by the Lew Woodall Quartet.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Thomas Hutchins

Emily is the daughter of Lewis and Shirley Woodall of New Castle. Jeremy is the son of Thomas and Holly Hutchins of Seneca, S.C.

Sarah Nelson of Boston, Mass., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Noelle Russell of Annapolis, Md.; Molly Simpson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Lauren Stull of Robbinsville, N.C.

Tommy Hutchins was best man. Groomsmen were Will Hutchins of Anderson, S.C.; Eric Bosse of Charleston, S.C.; and Brad Young of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

The bride, who was escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a floor-length silk tricotine gown featuring a shirred, fitted V-neck bodice and crossover back, with a Watteau train and French bustling detail. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Gerber daisies, sunflowers, and dahlias.

The bridesmaids wore clover-green sundresses and carried daisy and sunflower bouquets. The bride and her attendants were delivered to the wedding site on a wagon pulled by a John Deere.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to an outdoor pig-pickin’ reception on the Woodall Farm. Reception music was provided by Lew Woodall Jazz Quartet and The Craig County Boys Bluegrass Band.

The bride is a graduate of Craig County High School and University of Mary Washington. She is employed by Gal-Tex Corp as Director of Mountain Lake Conservancy in Pembroke.

The groom is a graduate of Seneca High School and Greenville Technical College. He is employed as crew chief/land surveyor with Thompson and Litton Engineering in Radford.

Following a honeymoon trip in northern California, Mr. and Mrs. Hutchins now reside in Blacksburg.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Frank Denton of Gales Ferry, Conn. She graduated from Masuk High School, Gettysburg College, Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education. She is associate pastor of Salem Presbyterian Church.

The groom graduated from Salem High School, East Tennessee State University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is assistant dean of students at Roanoke College.

Bonnie Denton, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Alison Schmied and Laura Holmes, cousins of the bride.

Jimmy Bryant, uncle of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Marty Cash, cousin of the groom, and Jerry Ferguson, friend of the groom. Henry Denton, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

Marianne Ebert read scripture. Guestbook attendants were Nichole Cash and Alexa Powers, cousins of the groom.

Following the service, a reception was held in Gresham Hall. The couple honeymooned in Italy and is living in Salem.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Buckhoff of Statesboro, Ga., and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Buckhoff of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Smith of Woodland, Calif. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University and currently employed as a teacher in Springville, Utah.

Mr. and Mrs. Trevan Joseph Reeves

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reeves of Salem and Cincinnati, Ohio, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Daugherty of Cincinnati. He is a 2006 graduate of Salem high School and attended Brigham Young University for a year before serving a two-year church mission in Budapest, Hungary. He plans to return to BYU to pursue a degree in accounting.

Following a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Orem, Utah.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Lorrie Harrison of Christiansburg and the granddaughter of Don and Maria Roman of Vinton and the late Yvonne Harrison Lescue and Joe Lescue of Roanoke County. She is also the great-granddaughter of Earl and Reba Powell and Doris J. Murray, all of Roanoke.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lee O'Connor

The groom is the son of James and Sandra O’Connor of Spring, Texas, and the grandson of Charlotte Moore of Humbolt, Ariz.

The bride was escorted by her father and given away with blessings in marriage by her mother and father.

Marissa Katherine Harrison of Fredericksburg, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Derrie O’Connor, sister-in-law of the groom, of San Diego, Calif; Grace Conner, friend of the bride, of Norfolk; Haleigh Grace Shell, cousin of the bride, of Vinton; and Haley O’Connor, niece of the groom, of San Diego, Calif.

Andy Rineheimer of Spring, Texas, friend of the groom, was his best man. Other groomsmen were Sam Rineheimer, friend of the groom, of Surfside, Texas; Jason O’ Connor, brother of the groom, of San Diego, Calif; Chase Harrison, brother of the bride, from Christiansburg, and C.J. O’ Connor, nephew of the groom, of San Diego, Calif.

Lucas Harrison of Adamstown, Pa., cousin of the ride, was ring bearer.

Austin Shell of Vinton, cousin of the bride, read the scripture, 1 John 4: 7-16.

The bride’s veil was made by her late grandmother, Yvonne Harrison Lescue, and worn with loving remembrance. It was fashioned with pearls from her late great-grandmother. Her grandmother also hosted a bridal shower at her home in January and coordinated the wedding.

The rehearsal dinner was held the previous night at Fiji Island, hosted by the groom’s parents.

Alanna is a financial reporting accountant for HCC Insurance Holdings in Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Christiansburg High School and Christopher Newport University in Hampton, with a B.S. in accounting and a graduate of San Houston State University in Houston, with a master’s in business administration with specialization in finance.

He is currently pursuing his studies and graduated from Tomball University with a degree in science. He will attend the police academy in Houston, Texas, in the fall.

After a brief stay at Hotel Roanoke, the couple honeymooned in Jamaica. As their first anniversary approaches, they are grateful to everyone who shared their joyful day.

They now make their home in Spring, Texas.

The groom is the grandson of Mrs. William R. Jordan and the late Dr. William R. Jordan of Appomattox, formerly of Richmond; Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Carr Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; the late Honorable Edmund Waller Hening Jr. of Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. Perry of Richmond. He will graduate this spring from Radford University with a degree in criminal justice.
