Caldwell, Henry Preston, Jr.

Henry Preston Caldwell Jr., 63, of Narrows passed away Monday, August 30, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Ruth Caldwell of Craig County, and an infant son.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Fran Caldwell; daughter Tricia Jenkins of Christiansburg, son Preston Caldwell III of Christiansburg, son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Angie Caldwell of Christiansburg, stepson Duane Rakes of Booneville, Miss.; sister and brother in law Judith and George Ayers of Craig County; sister in law Belle Warner of Narrows, Lucille Pruitt of Narrows; brother-in-law Mickey Suratt of Fincastle, special nieces little Belle of Narrows, Bina Neal of Narrows; grandchildren Caedmon, Petra, Liviya Caldwell and Nathan Jenkins of Christiansburg; step-granddaughter Shanna Rakes, Narrows; aunt Margaret Estes, Salem, and a multitude of nieces, nephews and family whom he loved.

Funeral arrangements will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 2. Interment will follow at the Caldwell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gravel Hill Church on Wednesday, September 1. Arrangements by Paitsel Funeral Home. www.paitselfh.com
